Just how our school schedule is set up :) We began the semester the day after New Year's.
We're starting back next week though with summer registration; this is realllllly early for us, we usually have 3 weeks off. We're offering two 5 week minisessions (wish I had the first one but I'm teaching in the second one) and an 8 week session in the middle.
Actually, I may sleep all weekend :-D
whipeee…and I start summer school on 5/19!!! LOL
and I know you do too…but online with no commute makes us happy girls!

Hi Aley, though I love teaching on campus during summer (the energy is more relaxed and the students are different), I am so looking forward to NO commute through, around, over, under downtown ATL :-D (unless I really really really want to!) Plus, these online courses give me FREEDOM to travel, so, have laptop will travel to/from: Atlanta, Minnesota (hopefully with a stop by Julia and I think I go by friendstacy), Germany (have to borrow a computer while here) maybe seeing Jena in Switzerland, and Portland. Anyone else along the way? :-D
An update on one of my challenging students: I think the challenge is over, she graduated without a whimper. I never heard from her again once my Division Chair told her not to contact me or him, he would contact her (which he, well, truly accidentally, never got around to).
Peri, glad you're all set up and I think partying later tonight is a wonderful idea! Heehee, I fell asleep early last night and just now woke from a nap :) I am now really ready for some fun and celebration!!!!! I'll try to update this blog so it shows today though I think you all can find us, just follow the music :-D
I am going to drive for an hour to go to my mom and until then I will be able to join you guys. Wish me a safe, happy, song-filled drive. Summer nights, tell me more, tell me more…, see you all later.
